Finally, after some COVID restrictions had been pulled down, the racing activities were partly resumed. The first race of the Nurburgring Langstrecken Serie (formerly known as VLN Langstrecken Meisterschaft Nurburgring) was held succesfully over the last weekend of June. It was really nice to see race cars competing at Nurburgring-Nordschleife again after such a long hiatus. During the race there was a tough fight between several Mercedes AMG GT3 race cars and Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 #34 which eventually ended up with BMW victory. That was amazing to see my favorite race car occupying top step of the podium for the first time that year in the championship.
