Humbolt Squid hunting fish in Monterey Bay

These video clips show Humboldt squid (scientific name Dosidicus gigas) hunting fish in Monterey Bay. These voracious predators can grow to over two meters (6.5 feet) long. Unlike many larger predators, Humboldt squid can hunt at depths where the water contains very little dissolved oxygen.
