Henryk Bobinski - Piano Concerto No.1 Op.8 (Only first movement)

Eugene Logvinovsky/SO of the Kiev Music Institute named after Protasov Unfortunately only the first movement is available. Henryk Bobinski (1861-1914) was a Polish Composer. He studied with Zygmunt Noskowski and Strobel in Warsaw. He obtained his diploma in 1879. After graduating, he left for Kraków. He found employment there as a piano teacher. Parallel to his work, he gave concerts (including: Lublin, Krakow, Warsaw). Then he went to Vienna to complete his education under the leadership of Teodor Leszetycki (Theodore Leschetizky). Later he studied composition with Shostakovsky at the Moscow Philharmonic Society. In 1893 he lived briefly in Odessa, then moved to Kiev. There he became an upper-class piano professor at the school of the Russian Music Society. In the years 1893-1903 he gave concerts in Warsaw, Kiev and Vienna. He died in Warsaw.
