“Everybody was unified in wanting this war to end and for peace to be in the Middle East,“ - Donald Trump recorded a video address after Hamas agreed to release hostages. “I want to thank the countries that helped me organize this: Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, and many others. So many people fought so hard. This is a great day. We’ll see how it all ends. We need finality and specificity. Very important, I look forward to seeing the hostages come back home to their parents, and when some of the hostages, unfortunately, you know what condition they’re in, also come back home to their parents, because their parents wanted that just as much as if that young man or young woman were alive. So, I just want to let you know, this is a very special day, in many ways, perhaps unprecedented. It is unprecedented. But thank you all. And thank you to all of these great countries that helped.
