Moong dal halwa
Ingredient quantity
Moong dal soaked 1 cup
Water 2 cup
Sugar 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Saffron spray as required
Ghee 3 tbsp
Assorted nut ¼ cup
Khoya ½ cup
Method:
step1: Grind the soaked moog dal without water. Moog dal paste should be coarse or smooth.
step 2 : Heat the 2 cups of water, Add 2 tbsp of sugar.( you can choose to add bit of milk to clean the sugar)
Step 3: As it starts boiling, add 1 tbsp cardamom powder, add saffron.
step 4: you will notice the saffron color. as sugar melts, keep aside the sugar syrup.
Step 4: heat 3tbsp ghee in a pan, Add moog dal paste and stir continuously
