Sepak Takraw in Bangkok Thailand

On our way home, we saw some men at the park playing an unusual sport. We said hello in Thai (Sawadi Krup) and asked if we can record them while they play. They told us it is called Sepak Takraw. It is a similar sport of volleyball but they use a rattan ball and only allow players to use their feet, knee, chest and head to touch the ball. It is a popular sport in Southeast Asia. You know how spikes are exciting in volleyball? In takraw, it’s like a backflip. Check it out. Shot with the Canon 5D Mark II
