Supercam unmanned aerial vehicles and self-propelled howitzers crews conducting counter-battery combat Russian artillerymen continue fighting with the artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasny Liman direction. Having received the command to take off, the crew of the Supercam UAV takes the drone to the designated aerial reconnaissance square, examining the area for the presence of artillery positions, observation posts and ammunition storage areas. Having detected the flash from the exit of a mortar shell, thereby revealing the position of the enemy gun, the UAV operators immediately transmitted the coordinates of the Ukrainian Forces’ firing position to the artillery control point. Having checked the coordinates, the artillerymen of the self-propelled artillery regiment of the Central Military District fired at the exposed position with 152-mm high-explosive fragmentation shells, which provoked the detonation of a nearby field ammunition depot. Specialists from the unmanned aviation units highly appreciate the tactical and technical characteristics of the domestic Supercam drone.
