The Great Pyramid (1982)

Here’s an older and impossible documentary title to find anywhere. Released in 1982 by the Japanese Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV). The video is quite a bit outdated, but nevertheless it discusses some nice Egyptian facts regarding the pyramids, gives some really rare video shots of some of the internal cavities of the great pyramid and is the only professional video I know of which shows the 1978 (video claims 1977) Japanese Nippon team in their efforts to recreate an authentic 65’ pyramid in the ancient methods. The overall effort in that recreation is presented here in a sort of glorified manner. Little will this video describe that the effort of recreation was a complete failure in the methods that are assumed to be how the Egyptians really created the pyramids. The video won’t tell you how much of a failure the project turned out to be. From the start there were complications in cutting and transporting the stones. They resorted to modern steam ferry to transport the stones a
