This female red-billed hornbill is enclosed inside her self-made prison, incubating her clutch of eggs. Meanwhile she is totally dependent on her mate to feed her, bringing up to 20 large insects every day.
25 days later the babies hatch. Having been cooped up for over 2 months the lack of space and constant quarrelling is getting to much for the mother and so squeezes out of her self-made prison. Leaving our Robo Spy Chick with the babies who take Spy Chick under their wing.
