Royal Hungarian Air Force 1943-45

The RHAF was reorganized in 1943, establishing 2 brigades. They received their new Hejja II fighters, but these were rapidly becoming obsolete, so the slow delivery of domestically produced Me-109 fighters and Me-210 fast bombers helped a lot. When German troops occupied the country, Allied bombings soon started, and their overwhelming force gradually destroyed the Hungarian units, which eventually retreated to Austria and surrendered to American forces.
