People stuck going backwards on a theme park ride Adults and children were stuck spinning backward for as long as 10 minutes on a malfunctioning ride at an amusement park in Rye, New York, on July 23, local news reported. Video recorded by Giovanni Martinez shows the Music Express ride at Rye Playland malfunction as it spins out of control. Concerned witnesses can be seen in the video telling passengers aboard the ride to calm down as park staff attend to the situation.
