South Africa’s Wonder Beast: Rock Hyrax

A small furry mammal’s roots that trace back to one of the largest animals to roam the continent are revealed. The Rock Hyrax goes by many names including the Rock Rabbit and Dassie. It tends to enjoy life of the edge, living in mountainous crevices. The animal also seems to have exceptional vocalization skills joining an eclectic group of communicators who rank as some of the largest in world. CCTV Travers Andrews reports
