Paralyzed Stray Dog Covered in Scars, Crying Alone by the Roadside

A teary-eyed dog sits helplessly on the sidewalk, its hind legs seemingly unable to move, the lower body swollen, and a scabbed wound on its head – the scene I witnessed the first time I encountered it. Most pedestrians hurriedly pass by, but I stopped because in that moment, I saw its eyes. The helplessness and despair in its eyes touched me.
