[Touhou mini-Fanimation] Sekibanki Cookies!

Oh, Sekibanki. You’d forget your head, if it was not attached... aaand it’s not, so... Happy Halloween-ish everyone. The current “BIG“ animation I’m working on was dragging out and I needed a break. And what better way for an animator who loves animation to take a break, than to do another smaller, quick animation on the side?! ⓛꇴⓛ ⚟ Now, I can’t wait to hear from relatives and such, all pondering why and how this little lady just tore her own head off to use as a stepladder... For those of you who don’t know the character (Sekibanki), she is from the game franchise Touhou Project. She is a Rokurokubi... not going into explaining that in detail, but basically of form of Dullahan (Like the headless horseman, etc.) One of her more characteristic traits being, that her head is not attached to her body. (who’s house is that anyhow? no clue!) I admit, it isn’t superb and was quite rushed (after all, it was a “break“ animation and I needed it done before Halloween). Originally, I thought of the idea, as a comic, but since it was simple, I wanted to try animating it instead. This was actually planned out, the same time I did “It’s Spring!“ with Lily White and not originally intended as a Halloween thing. Also, I’m pretty glad I did. It made me experiment more with the tools in my animation program and I learned that some of the tools, I considered the most useless and ones I would probably never use, is turning out to be quite a big help AND is without a doubt going to help me on my other big animation I’m doing. I guess it’s kind of like when you have an item or a weapon in a game, that you found completely useless to begin with, but suddenly you discover it has a special use in a specific area, that is a complete game-changer! It’s still going to be a while before I finish my other animation. Also, I won’t be doing anything for Christmas. Anything and ALL. I’m not going “Grinch“ on you or anything. It’s just... 2016 has been the ’trolliest’ year, when it comes to Christmas. Already back in March, a hardware store was selling Christmas merchandise. Sure, it could be stuff that didn’t sell before Christmas and was now going on sale, but still. Over the next few months, I kept seeing, and hearing more about Christmas, heck a playlist was playing some old tunes from a game that I missed, to feel a bit nostalgic, but suddenly it started playing Christmas themed music from that game. During midsummer here, a TV station had the gall to broadcast those Disney Christmas special; their reasoning being, that we were now “halfway to Christmas“. In late August/early September, some people have started hanging out their Christmas lights and lighting them up and grocery stores started putting Christmas merch up on the shelves, etc. etc. etc! So you know what? I already “experienced“ Christmas this year. Instead. Tomorrow, I’m going to go buy a pumpkin. Carve it out and make some Halloween Cookies! I only did the animation for practice and the love and enjoyment of animating. As such! Video isn’t monetized. Have fun!
