CORG-E 2

Shoutout to Aubrey Lima, Josh Edwards, Daniel Berry, and Shane Newville for the amazing voice work on this project! You all are awesome! Welp, after a year of thinking I wasn’t ever going to be able to finish this project, I finally finished it. CORG-E 2 is the sequel to the first-ever animation I posted appropriately titled CORG-E. It stars Agent 611 (a corgi) accompanying his partner Miki on a mission to retrieve a coin that harnesses an unspeakable power. It spans roughly 7 minutes (minus the credits), making it my longest and most ambitious animation until now. Preproduction for CORG-E 2 was the same as JNPR vs. Raven. It was partially rushed, and because of that, it gave me problems during production. Sometimes these issues were 1-minute fixes. Other times it took me an entire day to correct. School was another thing that didn’t help with production. Trying to pile on CORG-E 2 with the responsibility of schoolwork was difficult to handle. I could barely work on it, and when I had the chance, I was already burned out from schoolwork to do anything. There are two things to take away from this. One, assess your situation before starting on anything. Always make sure your personal life isn’t getting in the way of your art. And two, have the patience to plan things. If you can do that, you get to save yourself from a lot of pain in the future. So, what’s going to happen moving forward? To start, I’m refraining from working on any large projects for the next couple of years. CORG-E 2 was already a lot to take on, and I don’t think I’m ready to do it again. On Twitter (I’m not calling it X), I’m going to stop announcing new projects/studies. To me, it’s not a good look. So, I’ll post whatever I’m working on without “starting“ anything. Besides that, this project was a good learning experience, and I have definitely improved since starting it. Below are the links to the voice actor’s Twitter accounts, so please check them out. That’s all from me. Until next time. -Labowski Miki - Pearl Jam - Commander - Super Ninja -
