Magna Missa - Mozart KV 257

The Great Mass ( magna missa) in C minor - KV 427 is the most ambicious masses composed by Mozart, and is considered one of Mozart’s greatest works. He composed it in Vienna in 1782 and 1783, when he was 26 years old, after his marriage. Mozart has writen the most magnificent sacred music of all western culture, very unknow pieces in our times, even in between classical music apreciators, for no reason at all. He was very devouted catholic young lad and put in his church comissioned works special effort to make it most gorgeous to God. The pieces he composed writing melodies in the sacred catholic texts, mostly masses and litanys, using choral voices, individuals singers in emotional phrases and instruments like in a symphony giving the liturgies a breath of magnificence and life like god himself was making the music in the church. The most beautyful of his sacred works will be posted in that channel for dissemination of theses gorgeous sacred emotional musics that are part of the catholic history and will hel modern catholics reembrace its faith that lost memory in modern times.
