TOM JACKSON - Rise up to the Moon - rare TV performance - - Rolf Köhler / Kalle Trapp

In this rare clip, the legendary TOM JACKSON performs the song RISE UP TO THE MOON. This was around the same time he also did some legendary vocal recordings and songwriting at STUDIOS in Hannover for VTO PICTURES. This clip was taken from the German kids programme “Die Spielbude“, filmed at the discotheque MicMac in Kaltenkirchen, near Hamburg. Unfortunately, it was only aired partially. Rolf Köhler who handled the production and delivered background vocals is of course known for being one of the voices for Dieter Bohlen’s chorus choir in many Modern Talking and Blue System songs. Kalle Trapp has produced Eurodisco music such as SOLID STRANGERS but also well-known hard rock and metal acts such as MAD MAX, BLIND GUARDIAN, GAMMA RAY, PAGANINI and also ZENITH, whose lead singer was Tom Jackson. This shows the incredible vocal and song writing abilities Tom has as a singer. The song itself was written by Ralf-René Maue, Rolf Köhler and Claus-Robert Kruse. Special thanks to TOM JACKSON and his team for creating these great and classic songs that even after around 35 years haven’t lost their magic.
