Solo Longsword - Dexterity Cutting Drill - Part 2

Part 2! 5 variations of varying complexity. A great way to work on dexterity with the longsword, and to get a little bit of conditioning done! Part 1 is here: About this cutting pattern: New bottle, old wine! This cutting pattern has been around for ages, and has proven its usefulness over the centuries, providing people with a structured cutting pattern to not only learn strikes, but also improve their combinations and handling. But rather than sticking with vague generic titles, I’ve taken to using a modern name that sticks in the mind and clearly describes the drill. This drill has been used for all types of weapons over the centuries, and shown here is an adaptation for #Longsword. But it has been used for broadsword, quarterstaff, and a whole range of different items, so no matter what your focus is within the #HistoricalEuropeanMartialArts, you can certainly make use of this solo drill, so I hope this #Tutorial helps!
