‘Australian Brexit moment’: Nigel Farage discusses the Voice to Parliament
GB News host Nigel Farage says the Voice to Parliament and the debate surrounding it feels like Australia’s “Brexit moment”.
“You’ve got the great and the good, the established mainstream media – oh let’s not forget Qantas,” Mr Farage told Sky News host Paul Murray.
Mr Farage pointed out that six to nine months ago, polling showed that two thirds of Australians would vote Yes which has now dropped to about 40 per cent.
“It looks like what’s happening is – people are actually listening to the arguments and changing their minds.
“This could be a real slap in the face for the metropolitan elites … I’m watching on and I’m cheering.”
