Scrooge (1901) The Most Complete Version

Scrooge (or Marley’s Ghost) from 1901 was the first cinematic adaptation of the classic Dickens tale. In turn it is the second known film version of a Charles Dickens story, the first being The Death Of Poor Joe from 5 months earlier. Despite being the first adaptation, it will remind you of the majority of the Scrooge and Christmas Carol films that came long after it. Anyone who is a fan of Dickens should consider this, and The Death Of Poor Joe for that matter, as required viewing. This video is fair use and not for profit.
