NimeZ Modded Drivers vs. AMD Legacy in 2023

Benchmarking NimeZ modded drivers for AMD Radeon GPUs vs. the official AMD Legacy driver set in 2023, using an R9 290X and RX 480 4GB in 9 games on an average gaming PC in 2022. NimeZ have been providing modded drivers for unsupported AMD graphics cards for years, usually coming to prominence around the time something popular loses driver support. This happened in 2021, and I compared these modded drivers against the official legacy drivers in early 2022. Since then, AMD have issued a second legacy driver pack for older GCN 1, 2 and 3 GPUs. Have these drivers fixed the issues that previously required NimeZ, and is there a performance benefit to either one? And can NimeZ benefit owners of GPUs that still have access to official drivers?
