Trailer - More Exports (1947)

Thought to be Selected Originals from late 1940s material. An animated trailer film encourages people to buy imports to encourage exports. A family sit down and enjoy a Sunday roast lunch. Father lights his pipe, and they have a cup of tea. The voiceover explains that much of what they are enjoying has to be imported. Despite this they are fully behind the export drive. The family push a ball marked with import and export. As it moves along it grows in size - because ’The more we import, the more we export“. The family all nod as they sit around the table.
