Pakistan election 2024 Overview and Backlash

The 2024 election has been like earlier Pakistan elections. That means it is a sham. The most popular leader Imran Khan has been put in prison and his party denied the election symbol forcing it to contest as independents. But despite all the manipulations by the Pakistan army Imran Khan is still the winner with the maximum number of seats but wheels between wheels churn and there is every chance that he will be denied his rights and a cobbled government by discredited and corrupt persons like Nawaz Sharif may form the government. However, this is a watershed moment in Pakistan’s history and the Pakistan masses have shown that they can face the army and this could lead to the ultimate break up of Pakistan.
