EGOROV / ELENA MININA - The White Ship

The ocean blue, green, black, or white, an ancient memory, the dreams of time And when the moon is full and high the secret lore and tales of yore will come alive Across the line out of the deep There, from the south comes The White Ship Walk on the bridge of the moonlight beams An’ glide away on silent waves into the dreams Sailing, wandering Far away, passing by The lily-lined shore Mystical, magical, Glorious, glittering The sparkling sea around Who had not lost a sense of wonder And wish to go beyond or yonder Just close your eyes fall into slumber So you can leave the waking Then you can dream that you’re in heaven There is no age no now nor never And you can stay there forever Inside a dream, where you live on Day after day the coast of every hue Night after night along with the mellow moon And when the day dawned on glowing sky The hours were filled with songs that were so soft and mild The scenes of joy and verdant bliss Coast from the coast fanned by a gentle breeze Sail past the walls from land to land And followed for the days a southward-flying bird The golden domes Splendid grove Singing birds Sing their song The folk with unmarred grace The land of hope Beautiful Perfumed lakes Steepled towns There is no time or space This is a miracle land This is where magic is dwell This is where memories have waned Life’s beginning to change Behind the wall of sleep The line is fragile and thin Down and into the deep The world that lies within Smashing down a cascade of falling oceans Crashing down into an endless void Casting down lost in the vertigo motion Wake up, back to real as if never was away Music/lyrics U.
