During the Free Nations of Post-Russia Forum, Artur Ankkalainen, an ideologist of the Pan-Finno-Ugric platform Suur-Suomen Sotilaat (SSS) presented the concept of uniting Finno-Ugric peoples within the framework of a common ethnocultural space known as «Suuri Suku». Suur-Suomen Sotilaat represents a project of the third wave of Pan-Finno-Ugrism, focused on cultural revival. This supranational project sets several key objectives: the restoration of self-awareness based on Finno-Ugric identity, the creation of an independent intellectual elite from representatives of Finno-Ugric origin, and the development of cultural and socio-economic connections with other Finno-Ugric nations.
