During the Free Nations of Post-Russia Forum, Artur Ankkalainen, an ideologist of the Pan-Finno-Ugric platform Suur-Suomen Sotilaat (SSS) presented the concept of uniting Finno-Ugric peoples within the framework of a common ethnocultural space known as «Suuri Suku». Suur-Suomen Sotilaat represents a project of the third wave of Pan-Finno-Ugrism, focused on cultural revival. This supranational project sets several key objectives: the restoration of self-awareness based on Finno-Ugric identity, the creation of an independent intellectual elite from representatives of Finno-Ugric origin, and the development of cultural and socio-economic connections with other Finno-Ugric nations. SSS collaborates with right-wing movements in Finland and Estonia. Furthermore, the organization garners support among various ethnic groups, including Karelians, Ingrian Finns, Meryans, Erzya, Moksha, Komi, Mari, Udmurts, as well as among the Pomors and Chuvash people.
