After winning the WWFX Fan Contest, I got the chance to meet Shawn Daivari, who was booking/directing the entire production. He briefed me about my role and told me I’d be announcing the Divas Match (Jillian Hall vs. Melina) alongside Colt Cabana in the ring. Man, that was awesome!!! I knew my voice wasn’t going to hold up for very long, so I actually didn’t mind that I just had to call out the ladies’ names. AND I HAD MY OWN RING ENTRANCE!!! I knew I’d get my ass booed out so I did a Daniel Bryan impersonation just for kicks! Too bad I didn’t think about doing it all the way with the “YES! YES! YES! ANNOUNCER! (instead of “World Heavyweight Champion!“) schtick or with Jericho’s “YEEAAAAAHHH BAYBAY!“ crap. I just lived out a dream come true! And I got to drink beer with Melina in the middle of the ring after the match! AWWWW YEAH!
