The song has various inaccuracies, being created fifty years after the events it tells of. It mentions the King Henry V of England dying in Saint-Fiacre in Brie, he actually passed away in Vincennes. The Song is about the last stage of the Hundred Years’ War, spanning from 1415 to 1453, The Battle of Castillon in 1453 marked the final battle, where the French forces, led by Jean Bureau, decisively defeated England. This victory marked the collapse of English influence in France.
