Double Overtaking Maneuver. The BMW M8 GTE #82 received triple draft from two Ford GTs and a Corvette in front of it. This allowed it to gain speed more quickly and commit a double overtaking maneuver which astonished the commentators. The drivers of both Fords were thinking too much on who of them would go ahead and thus a commotion occured. Antonio Felix Da Costa in the BMW #82 reacted immediately and overtook ’em both. I would say it was a perfect moment for seizing an opportunity and commit an overtake. It’s quite unusual to see that Ford GTs have some sort of a lack of top speed though.
