Cab ride through dried out Dutch landscape: Hoedekenskerke - Goes Stoomtrein Goes-Borsele SGB 7/8/22

After a long period of drought, the Netherlands is starting to dry out considerably. The yellowed vegetation is un-Dutch. We are back at the Goes-Borsele steam train, ready for the return journey. Today Steam Tram 5 runs the steam service. This 1929 Belgian locomotive was lent by the Hoorn-Medemblik Museum Steam Tram Foundation. We can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this museum in Goes, which was founded in 1972: there is enough to see on the site itself! For more information, visit .
