MILLY SPRING 2016 RUNWAY SHOW

Drawing inspiration the raw beauty of midsummer romance, Smith’s collection is a sensual juxtaposition of soft and structured, refined and organic, sleek and undone. Through precise tailoring and draping, utilitarian textiles such as denim linen and crisp poplin are transformed into dramatic sculptural shapes, from off the shoulder blouses and minimalistic culottes to cascading skirts and plunge gowns. A gradient color palette echoes the spectrum of sunrise to sunset.
