The Duke Of Aosta Arrives At Port Said (1938)

Port Said, Egypt. The Duke of Aosta, cousin of Italy’s King Vittorio-Emanuele (Victor Emmanuel), arrives in Port Said aboard an Italian destroyer. He stands on the deck saluting as the local Italian colony welcome him in a flotilla of boats. He is on his way to Ethiopia where he will become the new Viceroy. The Duke travels on down the Red Sea to the port of Ethiopian port of Massawa where he comes ashore to be welcomed by crowds of people and lines of soldiers.
