Recorded on Jan. 7, 2023 at a Lewisham Stop the War Coalition benefit gig, ’World Peace and the Trade Union Movement’, at the Amersham Arms in New Cross, which raised much-needed funds for striking union workers of the RMT (rail workers), the CWU (postal workers), the RCN (nurses) and the PCS.
The event was also supported by Lewisham Trades Union Congress and Greenwich and Bexley Trades Union Congress, and was a rather wonderful and well-attended evening of solidarity. There were speakers from various unions, and other performers were accordion maestro Flaky Jake, with guitarist Paul Moody, and the Well Red Choir.
Video filmed and edited by Tyler Worthington.
