The mother notices the movement of an unknown object, which remains off-screen, nearby. Attracted by some other animal, the female leaves the cubs “under the supervision“ of a camera trap and sets off for reconnaissance. Kittens carefully observe from a safe distance the interaction of the mother with the intruder. The little ones do not look scared - they do not take their eyes off what is happening and try to grasp every detail. It is possible that this leopard found potential prey and went hunting to get food for the family and demonstrate the skills of an experienced predator to the kids. Although the object remains a mystery, scientists have learned that everything is fine with the family: they were recently seen by camera traps elsewhere in the Land of the Leopard National Park.
