To help for vlad9vt channel on PayPal: vlkudin2@ on Patreon: Tiwanaku (Spanish: Tiahuanaco or Tiahuanacu) is a Pre-Columbian archaeological site in western Bolivia near Lake Titicaca, about 70 kilometers from La Paz. Jesuit chronicler of Peru Bernabé Cobo reported that Tiwanaku’s name once was taypiqala, which is Aymara meaning “stone in the center“, alluding to the belief that it lay at the center of the world. Pumapunku or Puma Punku (Aymara and Quechua which literally means ’Gate of the Puma’) is a T-shaped and strategically aligned man-made terraced platform mound with a sunken court and monumental structure on top that is part of the Pumapunku complex, at the Tiwanaku Site near Tiwanacu, in western Bolivia. Tiwanaku is significant in Inca traditions because it is believed to be the site where the world was created. Discovered in 1549 AD. by Pedro Cieza de León (first European visitor)
