For the year 2018-19, Nataraj-The Dance Society of MAC, brings another vibrant and energetic internationally performed folk dance form of Gujarat- Garba Raas. Garba Raas is a mixture of various other folk dance forms of Gujarat like Hudo, Dandiya raas, Gop Raas , Garba and Garbi. It showcases the rich cultural heritage of the state. It is a highly energetic dance form where both men and women wear colourful costumes while performing it. Garba Raas is popular in Gujarati communities worldwide.
