The Bogdanoff twins were born of nobility, though their mother was shunned from her noble family after striking up a love affair with an African-American musician. The twins were born and raised in France. Despite the general family estrangement, they were close with their grandparents. Click below to check the trivia question In 1979, after unsuccessfully going to college to study mathematics, the Bogdanoff twins got their iconic gig hosting the French science fiction series Temps X. The show featured the brothers dressed as astronauts inside of a fake-looking spaceship set. They would introduce episodes of popular foreign TV shows, including The Twilight Zone, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, and Doctor Who. Temps X ended in 1987, and the Bogdanoff twins spent the 1990s attempting to get PhDs. Around the turn of the new millennium, both brothers succeeded, though they infamously got the lowest passing grades possible. In the 2000s, the Bogdanoff twins came under fire as a result of various academic controversies, with many of their peers believing they weren’t truly qualified as theoretical physicists. Recently, both of the Bogdanoff twins passed away within less than a week of each other after being hospitalized with COVID-19. At the time of their deaths, they were 72 years old.
