‘Turn Him Loose!’: Utah Official Confronts Deputy Who Arrested His Son for Outstanding Warrant

A Utah official confronted the deputy who arrested his son for an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop in November 2022. Deputy Wyatt Holyoak wrote in his report it appeared that San Juan County Commissioner Bruce Adams was trying to use his influence to intimidate him into showing him warrant information he was not permitted to show. “I want you to turn him loose,” Adams angrily said to Holyoak in reference to his son, Kenneth Adams, who was already taken into custody.
