I heard this song for the first time almost 50 years ago. It is still in my personal top 100 of all time. My version is part of my album ’Naomi’s Eyes’. ’Wildflower’ is one of 16 songs from a charity album benefitting an orphanage in my new homeland of Ecuador. You can download the entire album for $ 20 (US), or 20 Euros. All the money generated from this album will be directly donated to finalize the new three story building at the orphanage’s campus. It will house a floor with four classrooms for the illiterate kids, another floor with a baby wing for (currently) ten babies, plus a new dorm for the younger girls on the third floor.
