Triple Play: 3 New “Spools“ Projects with Jenny Doan of Missouri Star (Video Tutorial)

Once a month, Jenny, Misty, and Natalie each demonstrate their own, unique take on a favorite block, technique, or template. This week these talented Doan ladies are showing off three adorable spool quilts. Jenny’s “The World’s Largest Spool of Thread“ quilt is made with 2.5 inch strips (jelly rolls). In fact, it’s a jelly roll race! Jenny’s fabric is Snippets Pearlized 2.5“ Strips by Chelsea Designworks for Studio E. Misty’s Happy Little Spools quilt is made with 5 inch squares of precut fabric (charms). Misty’s fabric is Sew Fine Batiks by Kathy Engle for Island Batiks--a Missouri Star exclusive! This quilt comes together quickly with easy strip sets. Natalie’s Sassy Spools quilt is made with 10 inch squares of precut fabric (layer cakes). Her fabric is Bubbie’s Buttons and Blooms by Kori Turner
