Competition Eliminator was the ultimate in Group 2 drag racing during the 90’s featuring a diverse range of cars including doorlsammers, funny cars, dragsters and altereds. It was common to see big names racing in Group 2, but they weren’t always guaranteed to win which goes to show in this video. These highlights from the 1995 Australian Nationals at Calder Park Raceway show why this class gained a big following during drag racing’s golden era of the 90’s.
