Slow Motion Butterflies 2 Casio Ex-F1 LANHM Pavilion of Wings V12470

These beautiful scenes were filmed at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum (LANHM) 2013 Insect Fair’s Pavilion of Wings open-air butterfly aviary. For a few extra bucks, visitors to the bug show could get in to this enclosure with lots of native US species. Both adults and caterpillars were present inside, and butterflies frequently landed on guests as well. This footage was filmed with a Casio Exilim EX-F1 Pro high speed camera at 300fps, resulting in movement slowed down to 1/10 normal (real-time) speed. The native Casio frame size of 512x384 pixels was up-scaled to 1280x720 (720p) to preserve the image quality for this production.
