1966 Martin D-28 nearly destroyed, now restored by Brothers Music Shop (2 mics)

Spoon Phillips plays a 1966 Martin D-28 converted to pre-war specs by Brothers Music Shop, Wind Gap, PA. They took a D-28 body with no neck, a damaged top and sides and restored it with an Adirondack spruce top, forward-shifted, scalloped bracing, a tucked 30s style bridge, hide glue construction, etc. Recorded with a AKG Perception 170 small diaphragm mic and a Studio Projects C-1 large diaphragm mic, through a Mackie board, hard left and right pan, into a Sony camcorder.
