Walking to Pike Place Market Via Seattle’s “Most Dangerous“ Areas In Belltown | Monthly Tour Nov ’21

Monthly walking tour of Pike Place Market for November 2021. We’re almost at the 12 month mark with this series, and this one is a little different. I began my walk in Belltown to give a sense of what it might be like to walk from this popular neighborhood in the morning. In my opinion, 3rd Ave is probably the “most dangerous“ street in Belltown and downtown in general. There’s a few areas in particular that are sketchy and I point these out in this video. I know people who are looking to travel or move to Seattle often like to ask how safe downtown is, and hopefully this will give you an idea. Belltown is centrally located and ideal for folks who want to stay close to all the action that is downtown. This is the residential area of downtown. This market on this date is beginning to feel a lot like the holidays. Ornaments and decorations are being put up and you can just feel the holiday spirit in the air.
