DIY How to make a mermaid using polymer clay Cosclay / Mermaid in resin / Jar lantern / Resin light

Hey guys, I’m going to show you how I made this mermaid in a jar with resin and fairy lights craft. I sculpted the mermaid with cosclay but polymer clay works just as well. I painted her with acrylics and wanted to show you a little different technique using chalk pastels and watercolor pencils. I’m using Faber Castell chalks and Derwent pencils. I then sealed her with UV resin and lastly added some doll hair. I made a few ocean creatures out of clay, a puffer fish, seahorse and turtle. Then I added a layer of epoxy resin (I used puduo) to the jar, beach sand and shells. I Placed her in the jar and added several more layers of epoxy resin. I finished off the jar with some fairy lights, polyfil and some shells for the top. See you guys next time. #Resin #Mermaid #masonjar
