Metal Detecting With The Hillsdale Boys THE NIGHT BEFORE WINTER AND THE DAY AFTER !

This week on The Hillsdale Boys, I set off on a night recon all by myself into Northern Indiana for a gone by 1916 bean field re-hit. It was a large and loud iron patch that we did quite well on 4 or 5 years before. I’ve learned the best rehits are on the sites that gave a good amount the first time. It was a perfect fit for the Nel Sharpshooter coil ! Going low and slow and getting perfect separation in the loud iron patch proved to be the ticket that night.
