Congratulations to Jochem Van Gool, winner of the 11 Second Club August Competition! There were a lot of great entries this month, but Fiona’s entry won over the voters with its detailed and expressive interpretation of this dialogue clip from Carlo Hai’s “Frankie Drake Mysteries“. Jochemwon an eCritique from Disney animator, Jay Jackson. 35 year animation veteran Jay is currently a freelance animator working for Disney and has an envied career starting from when he apprenticed under one of Disney’s nine old men, Eric Larson. He continued to work on Disney classics such as The Fox and the Hound, Tarzan, and the Little Mermaid.
