Putin Says He Expects Punishment for Moscow Attack Suspects

Russian President Vladimir Putin said the suspects in the attack on a concert hall in a Moscow suburb should have a “fair punishment.“ Speaking at a meeting of the General Prosecutor’s collegium, Putin said investigators and security services are working to establish the circumstances of the attack that killed 139 people. Four men accused of carrying out the attack appeared before a Moscow court on Sunday on terrorism charges and showed signs of severe beatings.
