Building A Round Cage Crinoline Without Sewing Pattern

In this video you can watch me build a round cage crinoline without using any sewing patterns. This was definitely a challenge and I gotta be honest, I didn’t really enjoy building this. But that’s just because crinolines can be very tedious to build. The final result is so worth it though! And I loooove big ballgowns, so for that a crinoline is very necessary. Materials needed: - 40 meters of 11 mm flat steel boning - 5 meters of fabric for the boning channels. If you’re gonna use premade boning channels (which I highly recommend if you can afford it), you also need 40 meters. - 10 meters of twill tape for the vertical strips. - A button or a skirt hook and bar - Interfacing for the waistband. - Thread (obviously haha) Site where I got my boning: Another place where you can get crinoline boning:
