Regulating a digital currency is a fantasy.

Last week I spoke against the need for regulation of cryptocurrencies. It is a fallacy to think that governments can regulate them. They should be banned all together. Cryptocurrencies are backed by nothing and used by shonky operators to promote the idea of a safe haven. While I will always vehemently oppose government interference in peoples personal lives, I do believe the government should have control of our currency underwritten by our sovereignty. In the same way I don’t want the Federal government borrowing the the deep state controlled Federal Reserve dollars, I don’t want shonky operators peddling shonky digital currencies. One of the most important responsibilities a government has is to manage and control its country’s currency. Private banks are constantly trying to undermine this control, which is critical to a nation’s sovereignty. It is essential that the history of monetary policy and the wars they cause is understood and not hidden from view.
