Roots Reggae Dance, The Hobbit Pub (Live Party Selection)

Another live selection, this one from a few years ago - well before social distancing etc. Starring Leroy ’Skully Roots’ out of Jah Lion Movement, always a delight playing with this crew. Recorded at The Hobbit, Southampton, 4th March 2017 - more of a student venue than reggae venue, still big vibes when the classic roots play all night! Highlights from a ~5hr session. Big up MCs Ras Bashy (Countryman) and Rasdan (Ghana), and all crew inside... big thanks to Mikee Mike for filming. Sound system was Leroy’s bass section and Reverence Sound’s mid/tops. A couple of 18“ mini scoops was plenty for the venue, alongside Leroy’s control tower including vintage Baracuda pre amp.
